Chuo Sogo Law Office, P.C. is pleased to announce that Masahiro Nakatsukasa has been elected as our firm’s Managing Partner, effective December 20, 2022. He will succeed Tsugujiro Nakatsukasa, our founding partner.
Under Masahiro’s leadership, Chuo Sogo will continue the high standard of client services for which Chuo Sogo is known. As well, all of our attorneys will strive to provide innovative and sound advice to our wide-range of clients, in Japan as well as internationally.
Masahiro joined the firm in 1994 and is pre-eminent in cross-border M&A and financial transactions. He was included in the Best Lawyers in Japan from 2014-2022 in the Banking and Finance and Insolvency and Reorganization areas. In addition, he served as a Vice President of the Osaka Bar Association (2015-2016) and currently serves as an Outside Director at several major Kansai-based companies.
Masahiro is licensed as an attorney in Japan (1994) and in New York (2006).
