We have learned that someone is sending fake emails and documents in English purportedly in the name of “Chuo Law Office”. These emails, which appear to be sent by our law firm, ask recipients to deposit personal funds in offshore bank accounts. Please note that Chuo Sogo has absolutely nothing to do with these emails or attached documents. They are a hoax.

Do not respond to or take any action in response to emails about transactions in which you are not involved. Please inform us if you have any suspicious emails using our firm’s name.
